The department of civil and environmental engineering has a material research laboratory and a structural research laboratory. Both laboratories have many equipments for research.
In addition, structural engineering laboratory of Florida Department of Transportation is within the innovation park, where the college of engineering is located. Collaborative opportunities exist with FDOT research team. FDOT has excellent facilities for structural engineering research.
