Course Objective

To give you the opportunity to equip yourself with the skills and tools you will need in your subsequent Mechanical Engineering courses. This course will introduce you to both machines tool and computer tool use. You will work with a variety of machines tools including the lathe, milling machine and with a variety of software packages, including Matlab, Pro/Engineer, Word Processing and graphics

To give you opportunity to learn by self spaced problem solving. You will get as much out of this experience as you put into this course.
