Course Grades

It is very important to be in class, and to always BE ON TIME. This is an in-class learning experience, and we will not wait for individuals who choose to arrive late. We will take attendance within the first five minutes of the class. Class absences will effect your grade. Each absence is counted as a 5% reduction from the total grade. Your re-enrollment in the class will be on space available basis only with first timers having the preference. Please help yourself and others in your group and be on time all the time. To pass this course you should score not less than 70 percent. Hence, if you are absent for more than six classes you automatically fail the class. We will assess whether you passed the material for each of the four sections. Passing the material means completing the material in the manner prescribed by the instructors. For computer assignments, the output must be well formatted and correct. For the machining assignments, the shape, tolerances and finish must be within specification.
