My principal research interest is in the area of microbial and chemical movement and reactions in the soil, environmental biotechnology, and surface chemistry.
Specific research areas:
(1) characterization of water flow and solute transport in the vadose zone (2) modeling sorption kinetics and transport of microorganisms, organic chemicals, and colloids in the subsurface (3) microbial mediated iron transformation (4) colloid-facilitated transport of radionuclides in unsaturated porous media (5) bioremediation kinetics (6) genetic microbiology (7) interfacial phenomena. |
