About

Dr. Chiwoo Park received the BS in industrial engineering at Seoul National University in 2001 and the Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering at Texas A&M University in 2011. He is currently an assistant professor in the department of industrial and manufacturing engineering at FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. He is a member of Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and American Statistical Association (ASA).

His research interest is statistical machine learning and data mining with applications to the following engineering fields:

• Characterization and optimal control of nano-manufacturing processes
• Nano-imaging and Nano-metrology
• Spatial-temporal modeling with remote sensing data
• Application of wireless sensor networks (WSN) for monitoring of manufacturing processes and monitoring of civil structural health
