To remain active in the Florida Eta chapter, or for new initiates to join, all members must perform one individual volunteer activity and one group volunteer activity as well as one fundraising activity. These are the current volunteer activities for the chapter for the Fall 2010 Semester. On top of the volunteer activities, every member is required to perform one fundraising activity during the semester.
Volunteer for the Teen Engineering Day Challenge!
Help up to 80 Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts earn their Engineering Badge by volunteering to assist them with an activity on April 9th, 2011 (Day of the FE exam!!). The activities include an AutoCad lesson, model building, and a hands-on electrical circuit demonstration. All volunteers will be fed lunch and most likely be given a T-shirt. Since this event is time consuming and includes a mandatory dry run through attendance the week before, members and initiates will earn 3 points! Please access the link below to register for the event online: https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dDhzb09YRkxDSnRTV2xiY0M1Q0tQQlE6MQ
