This was the first meeting with the high school representative. Five FSU SHPE members met with a faculty member at Amos P. Godby to discuss possible strategies for the creation of the SHPE jr. Chapter. An accomplishment of this meeting was the fact that we obtained an advisor for the Jr. Chapter, Ms. Cabrero (Spanish Club teacher)

This is the first meeting for the students that are interested in learning about SHPE and the different opportunities available for them through the National organization. There are 25 confirmed high school students attending as well as a couple of professors. We will be giving a short presentation and providing food.
