Submit the application to any officer and pay $5.
To register as a national member --> Go to http://www.shpe.org
Click on the OneSHPE link on the top right corner of the page
Click “Membership Application”
Click on Apply under “Student”
You should see a map of the United States, click on Region 7/Florida (the red area of the map)
Now a list of colleges should have popped up. Select “Florida State University” and “Member” as the position in the chapter. Click Next.
Fill in your personal information
Payment information ($5 national chapter fee):

If you paid your membership dues to our chapter directly, select pay at local chapter.
If you wish to pay the national fee, select the payment option that best suits you.

You should receive an email within the next couple of days confirming your status.

Have your method of payment ready, we encourage you to pay with a credit card and received any chapter funds at a later date. It is your responsibility to confirm that you will receive chapter sponsorship

Log onto you Blackboard account (http://campus.fsu.edu)
Click the “Organizations” link in the top right-hand side.
Put “SHPE” in the search box on the left. Click GO.
You should see a link to “SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers)(SOO_1609_org)”. Click it.
Here you should see all of the announcements and sections of the local chapter. The layout is similar to other Blackboard sites that you might have seen for your other classes.
