The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is a national organi-zation dedicated to the for-mation of quality Hispanic engineers and technical talent. The Florida State University chapter of this society shares the same values, as we strive to mo-tivate the academic and professional development of our members. In order to achieve our purpose, we hold several events throughout the year. These include numerous social and community service ac-tivities, as well as confer- ences and professional workshops.
