Prof. Wekezer receives Distinguished University Professor Award at FAMU

Prof. Jerzy Wekezer, Chair of the Civil Engineering Department, was recognized at the FAMU Spring 2002 Commencement with the Distinguished University Professor Award. This is a lifetime recognition for continued excellence in teaching, research and service.

The Award was initiated by Interim President Henry Lewis III and was awarded for the first time at the Spring 2002 Commencement. It includes a plaque, a bonus and a three-year grant.
