Kamal Tawfiq, Ph.D., P. E., professor and associate chair in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering received a Superior Accomplishment Award through the FAMU Employee Recognition Program. Dr. Tawfiq was recognized for his outstanding and meritorious service for the 2001-2002 academic year. He has been with the college and department for 12 years. Specifically, he was recognized for his outstanding work on the ABET criteria at both the department and college levels, his professional and courteous service and commitment to university functions and goals.
