The Structural Engineering Institute of ASCE sponsored a structural design competition for universities. Innovative projects demonstrating excellence in structural engineering were invited for submission.
Jonathan S. Goode, Ph.D., Chair, SEI Student Initiatives Committee announced February 17, 2010 that Dr. Michelle Rambo-Roddenberry's student group was selected to receive the $250 Third Place Prize Award in the 2010 SEl Student Structural Design Competition, for the "Jolley Team" design. Congratulations!
Student representatives from the design team have been invited to present the project during a session Saturday, May 15 at 8:30 am and accept the award during the SEI/ASCE Awards Luncheon Saturday, May 15 at the 2010 Structures Congress in Orlando.
