The Big Bend Chapter of the Florida Engineering Society presented Dr. Michelle Rambo-Roddenberry with the 'Engineers in Education' Award at the annual Engineers Week Banquet on Feb. 20, 2009. This inaugural award is given to outstanding Engineers in the Education field. For the past three years Dr. Rambo-Roddenberry, Assistant Professor at FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, has led the "Pre-Senior Design and Professional Issue" and "Senior Design Project" capstone courses for her department. At the same time, she has been very involved in placing the Engineering Student with internships with local firms and has actively participated in FES.
