Prof. Palanki Recieves Faculty Research Award
Chemical Engineering's Dr. Srinivas Palanki was selected as a recipient of the FAMU 2002-2003 Faculty Research Award in recognition of his efforts in securing external funding for his research. The award provides $5000 in research funding. Dr. Palanki’s research interests are in the areas of batch process optimization and nonlinear robust control. The objective is the development of a framework for real-time optimization and control of poorly modeled batch processes. He has published over 75 papers and has won several best paper awards.
