A Local Engineer Recognized for Her Commitment to Engineering Students' Success

Judy Hayden, P.E.

Congratulations go to Judy Hayden, P.E., for being selected as one of Tallahassee's 25 Women You Need to Know!

Judy Hayden is a member of the Advisory Board for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, and has a particular interest in supporting the science, technology, engineering and math programs of middle school and high school students in hopes that they will pursue degrees in these subjects as college students.

In her announcement of Ms. Hayden’s achievement, Michelle Rambo-Rodenberry, a civil engineering professor at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, wrote, "Judy and her engineering firm, EGS Inc., have a long history of supporting the College of Engineering, along with many K-12 activities -- including MathCOUNTS and the WestPoint Bridge Competition held at the college every year. She and her family of engineers (husband, Myron, and children, Tom and Audra) commit time, money, and heart to make things happen! We are grateful for everything she does for us, and this recognition is well deserved!"
