BlackboardEngineering Students Recognized at FSU's 2012 Leadership Awards Night

Engineering senior Jessica Glenn received the President's Humanitarian of the Year Award, given to a student to recognize a tremendous commitment to service. The university donates $1,200 to the nonprofit agency of Glenn's choice. As the recipient of this award, Glenn becomes Florida State's candidate for the Howard R. Swearer Student Humanitarian Award, a national award given by Campus Compact.

Engineering grad student, Gustavo Munoz and engineering senior, Michael Perez, both received the 2012 FSU Academic Leadership Award, also awarded by the FSU Division of Student Affairs at the event held April 3, 2012.
Leadership Awards Night is an annual recognition of students, faculty, staff, and organizations that have epitomized the definition of leadership by their exemplary contributions to the Florida State University community through achievement, service, or organizational leadership involvement.
