The Founding Council of KUST has appointed Dr. Salah Aziz as the First President of the University.
Dr. Aziz joined the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering in 2002 as Coordinator of Academic Programs in the Associate Dean's Office. The College has 18 engineering programs. His activities include; generating statistic reports which help decision-making in college affairs; to assist the engineering programs to meet the criteria set by the State of Florida, University, and Regional (SACS) and Professional (ABET) accreditation agencies for insuring the quality of the engineering education. In addition, he focuses on improving quality of engineering education in the Developing countries.
