Goode Award to Craig Galban
The Tallahassee Chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers presented the William W. Goode, Jr. Memorial Award to Mr. Craig J. Galban, a graduate student in the Department of Chemical Engineering. The award, consisting of a certificate and $100, was based on the quality of Mr. Galban's graduate research. Mr. Galban is a Ph.D. candidate in chemical engineering. His research on the analysis of cell growth in a polymer scaffold, was presented in a recent seminar.
William W. Goode, Jr. was a long time resident of Tallahassee who actively participated in the activities of the local AIChE section. He passed away in November, and the award was created in his memory. The award was presented by Dr. Geoffrey Watts, chairman of the local section.
