The object of the surveying competition is to calculate the location and elevation of specific items with the greatest accuracy using standard surveying equipment and techniques.
Overall Finish---5th Place
The FAMU-FSU Chapter ended the competition in fifth place overall, out of twenty teams. This was the first year in recent memory in which the Chapter competed in all of the events. Other competitions included the Technical Paper, Visual Presentation, Concrete Strength, T-shirt and Banner, Environmental, and Steel Bridge Competitions. The 5th place finish can be contrasted with an eighteenth place finish just a year earlier.
