College Observes Twentieth Birthday
Commemorating the opening of the College of Engineering (then called the Institute of Engineering) in the Fall of 1982, the College cut a birthday cake at its Fall General Faculty meeting on September 18, 2002.
Dean Chen reviewed the accomplishments of the last two decades and presented a forecast of the College's growth in the decade to come.
Faculty and staff celebrated the occasion by signing a birthday card and being photographed to record the event.
