Bethany Platt Passes the Model Law Structural Engineer (MLSE) Exam and the LEED Green Associate Exam

Ms. Platt is a Licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina and Virginia with 7 years of structural design and construction administration experience. Ms. Platt holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a Concentration in Structures and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Ms. Platt has an in-depth understanding of structural systems of buildings, structural detailing, and analysis of structural frames as well as knowledge of old and historic structures, rehabilitation, and repair.
The Model Law Structural Engineer (MLSE) designation is conferred by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and indicates to state licensing boards that the engineer has met all Model Law provisions for structural engineers. The NCEES Model Law reflects best practices as determined by the NCEES Member Boards and is the model for state practice legislation.
