Additional Requirements: At Microsoft, we want to encourage students from groups currently under-represented in the field of computer science to pursue technical degrees. Additional Requirements: Scholarships are to be awarded to students pursuing careers in Computer Science or Engineering (mechanical, electrical, computer or biomedical/informatics). The first preference is students that are residence of Brevard County, Central Florida and/or Space Coast areas. Recipient(s) shall be a rising juniors or seniors at FAMU or FAMU/FSU College of Engineering. Scholarship awards in the amount of $2,500.00 will be made in the Spring semester. Applicants must be a US citizen. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above; submit an unofficial copy of transcript, a one page letter of why they want this scholarship and indicate career goals; submit a recommendation or have application signed by a faculty member; submit a resume or bio.
