AnyVSM is a software that can be used to retrieve the anisotropy function and the critical curve of magnetic thin film. The parallel and perpendicular components of the magnetization of the sample, which is placed in rotating magnetic film should be measured by using a vectorial Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). The two components are then used by AnyVSM to compute the anisotropy function of the sample.

 

 

AnyVSM can be installed on the following operating systems: Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows XP. Follow the following steps to install AnyVSM.

1. If you don't have the Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your computer then you need to install dotnetfx.exe (~23 MB). The file can be downloaded from Microsoft web page.

2. Download and unzip AnyVSM v0.9.zip (~300 KB) on your computer. A few sample data files are provided in the archive.
