Assessment
Welcome! The purpose of this web page is to present the on-going process of assessment and improvement of the educational program of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The assessment process has both internal and external assessment components. Assessment Instruments are designed to measure program educational objectives and desired program outcomes following procedures defined externally by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org, and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). In addition, the program is periodically reviewed by Florida A&M University (FAMU) and Florida State University (FSU).
