This page presents the work of Team 5 from the 2002-2003 Senior Design Class at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering in Tallahassee, Florida. All of the work has been conducted by three senior mechanical engineering students.

The purpose of the project was to design an ironless permanent magnet actuator used to control the movement of a small ratchet wheel with desired specifications.
