General Overview

   The UUV anchoring team was tasked with designing an anchoring system for a submersible vehicle. The team had to follow a certain engineering design method as taught in the FAMU/FSU college of engineering  senior design course EML 4551/4552.     The project was of a unique nature as there are not many references on how to anchor a submersible. The majority of information  on how to anchor a submersible was obtained from the customer and the team's faculty advisor Dr. Cartes. Once the team understood the problem and how to tackle it the details of the design began to take shape.
