        The Solar Car Team consist of a group of Engineering students that come together to do work on the solar car.  The Solar Car is a vehicle that uses photovoltaic cells to transform sunlight into energy.  This process is also used to recharge the batteries so that the car can operate when there is little or no sunlight.  The technology used in this car is state-of -the-art.  This technology could be used to produce the next generation of fuel efficient hybrids or a new generation of practical solar powered vehicles.

    Dr. Harrison is the head of the Solar Car team and delegates responsibilities and makes sure that the students are working and doing what they are supposed.  However, for the most part the Solar Car Team is ran by the student and Dr. Harrison is consulted and he makes the final decision.  The car has been in operation for over two years and many refinements have been made to make it the most lightweight and efficient car  possible.  If anybody is interested in the Solar Car or wants more information contact Dr. Harrison.
