Dr.
Ongi Englander, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering,
joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the FAMU-FSU College
of Engineering in Fall of 2007. Dr. Englander received her PhD and MS
degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley
in 2005 and 2003 respectively. She received her BS degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1998. Prior
to joining the department, Dr. Englander was a research engineer with
ExxonMobil Upstream Research Company. Her research interests include microscale
and nanoscale science, engineering and design, MEMS (Microelectromechanical
Systems), NEMS (Nanoelectromechanical Systems), nanostructure synthesis,
assembly, characterization and micro-to-nano integration and interfaces.
