Next press the "Format" button below and then save the file being formatted on your Unix disk as mechform.txt. Using Internet Explorer, you will also have to save it as type "text file" and encoding "user defined". Next:

Log on to your Unix account on dingo using telnet or X-windows.
Issue the command tex mechform.txt
If no errors, issue the command dvips -f mechform >! mechform.ps
If no errors, issue the command lpr mechform.ps
(you may need to specify a printer, eg. lpr -Plexlab1 mechform.ps)
Issue the command 'exit' to get out of Unix.

If any errors occur, press <Ctrl-C> to abort, enter 'exit' to exit and consult Dr. Van Dommelen or anyone else familiar with Unix and TeX. (But make sure that mechform.tex has been saved properly to your Unix disk first.)
