To Distance ToolsA scanner is required to take a class over the web. Before the class starts you must scan a picture of yourself and send the scanned file to the instructor. After finishing your homework, you must scan it and E-mail the scanned file to the instructor.
Software should come with the scanner. Typically you probably want to scan homeworks at 100 dpi in greyscale and save in .gif format. Scan photographs in color and save in .jpg format using a good but not extremely good quality setting. (Maybe 80%, if it is in percent.)
How to obtain itGet a flatbed scanner. At the time of this writing, late April 99, I noticed a U-max flatbed scanner at CompUSA for less than $100.
