Research at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering continues to grow as our faculty is supported by both public and private sources of funding. During the most recent fiscal year there were 253 active projects with a total under contract of more than $80 million. Our annual expenditures of almost $20 million resulted in a publication rate of approximately 200 refereed papers yearly. Our faculty’s research work has resulted in more than 40 patents.
For the past decade, the College has sponsored an annual Industry Day to promote support from industry and government partners. With almost 200 companies and government agencies as collaborative partners, Industry Day has become the showcase for our expertise as well as a medium for our students and faculty to connect with the private sector and government colleagues.
