Description of Event

Welcome to the Fall 09 EWB 5K race website!!
Engineering Without Borders is proud to host its 4th 5k. We are continuing  our commitment to improve the quality of life through dependable and sustainable engineering designs. In order to support our cause come out and Run for a Better World!

Date/Time:

Sunday, November 22nd, 2009
Race begins @ 9:00 am, Registration from 7:30 am

Place/Course:         

Race starts and finishes at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. The course is in Innovation Park. Map is below.

Awards

Awarded to 1st place male/female overall, 1st place male and female in 10-yr age groups, and a raffle prize. Team score will consist of combine time between top 4 runners. Awards go to top 4 runners of first place team. Individuals in groups will not qualify for age group.

Entry Fee

  • Early Registration (by or before November 14th) is $12.00 and includes a t-shirt or $7.00, no t-shirt option.
  • Late Registration Fee (after November 14th) is $15.00 includes t-shirt or $9.00 no t-shirt option.
  • Online Registration through www.active.com will be closed on November 21st.
  • T-shirt guaranteed if pre-registered. Registration Available online through EWB website.

Team Registration: 

  • Team will consist of a minimum of 4 runners per group.
  • Teams are required to pre-register before November 14th.
  • Entry Fee $10.00 per person includes T-shirt, $5 per person, no t-shirt option. Each participant must sign a waiver and complete this form. Teams cannot register online, must register by mail or in person.

Sponsorship Opportunites:

Sponsors have the opportunity to provide prizes for our event winners or monetary donations to the organization.  Contributing sponsors logos will be displayed on:

Gold Sponsor: Donations $200 and up

  • Newsletter via E-Mail
  • Largest Logo on T-Shirt
  • Link on FAMU-FSU EWB webpage recognizing your company as a Gold sponsor.
