Grade Waiver Policy
Under certain circumstances, students receiving "D" in an engineering science course or in an electrical or computer engineering course may request a waiver of the "C- or better" requirement.
Student Organizations
HKN
Eta Kappa Nu (ΗΚΝ) is a national electrical and computer engineering honor society in the United States founded in October 1904 by Maurice L. Carr at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The organization currently has more than 200 student chapters and about 250,000 members and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The Lambda Delta chapter of Eta Kappa Nu was started at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering in spring 2009.
IEEE
A professional society and non-profit organization, the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) is the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology. The student chapter is dedicated to the advancement of members towards their pre-graduation academic goals and their post graduation professional goals.
