| Attendance Requirements/Grading:
|
Grading is S/U only and it is based
on attendance only. In order to get an “S” you must
comply with the minimum attendance requirement.
We encourage you to attend all the seminars; they
are a space for you to become exposed to different
fields and professional development. The seminars
also provide an opportunity to interact with your
fellow graduate students. |
| Attendance Requirement: |
Students must attend a minimum
of 10 seminars during the semester to get an
S grade. You need to sign the attendance
sheet while attending locally. |
| Online Students: |
Enter on time and fill out the feedback
sheet after the seminar when attending online. |
| Class Conflicts: |
If you have class conflicts but are registered
for the seminar you must:
- Report the class conflict to the seminar
coordinator during the first two weeks of
classes.
- See the online seminars and submit a half
page summary of at least 50% of the seminars
for which an online version becomes available.
- Reports are due exactly one week after the
seminars to the Mechanical Engineering Department
office. It is the responsibility of the student
to see that the report gets signed and dated
by the secretary as proof of timely reception.
- No electronic submissions or late submission
will be accepted.
