Mechanical Engineering Fellowships

Beginning Spring 2009, the Department of Mechanical Engineering will offer graduate fellowships in Aero-Propulsion, Material Science, Robotics and Sustainable Energy. At least one fellowship will be offered in each research area. The fellowships are open to new PhD students in Mechanical Engineering. The fellowships include an annual stipend of $24,000, a tuition waiver of up to nine credit hours each semester and a health insurance supplement ($1,440 per student per academic year), which fully covers the purchase of the university-sponsored student health insurance plan (single coverage).

Applicants must have at least a 3.65 GPA and a 1250 on the GRE. Applications for the 2009-2010 competition will be available on this website September 1, 2008. If you have any questions please contact George Green at ggreen@fsu.edu.
