Industry Day 2009 - Information

The Florida A&M University - Florida State University College of Engineering proudly announces its Fourteenth Annual Industry Day on January 21st and 22nd, 2009. Industry Day provides opportunities for technical leaders in the business and academic communities to get together to share perspectives on new directions in industry and the future of engineering education. Featured activities of the two days include the following:

  • Keynote address: Dr. Michael Kasha, Distinguished Professor of Chemistry, Florida State University, Member of the National Academy of Sciences
    Research Today-New Fruitful Direction from Old Set-Ideas: Gold Mine for Future Engineers and Scientists
  • Annual Industry Day Reception & Dinner
  • Engineering Recruiting Exposition
  • Meeting of the College of Engineering Advisory Council

We strongly encourage you to join us for all the scheduled events.

For out-of-town visitors, a listing of local hotels is available on our web site. An early registration is advised due to Florida's legislative season and other scheduled Tallahassee events. Many Tallahassee hotels are already booked, so make your reservations early.
