Student groups look to fund their student competition entries

2010 Formula Hybrid Proposal

Formula Hybrid is an annual collegiate competition to build a formula style,  gas-electric hybrid vehicle. The competition takes place in Loudon, NH on May 10th,  2010 and is sponsored by IEEE, SAE, and many other corporate entities.

Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Sponsorship

The Florida State University Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Team is seeking sponsorship from members of industry to field a robot in the 13th Annual AUVSI Underwater Vehicle Competition in San Diego, CA.

Dr. Hui Li Receives The National Science Foundation's Career Award

image of Dr. Hui LiWe are proud that Dr. Hui (Helen) Li has received the National Science Foundation's Career Award for her project "CAREER:Design, Modeling and Control of High Efficiency and High Power Density Multi-port Power Electronics Module for Hybrid Energy Systems." This 5-year project running through 2012 is an indication of the high level of research capabilities present in the department, and we congratulate her on this significant achievement.
