Indroduction

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers bachelor of science degree programs in electrical (BSEE) and computer (BSCpE) engineering.

Electrical engineers (EE's) influence all facets of modern life, especially in an age fueled by information processing, communications and the internet. Computer engineers (CpE) apply the hardware skills of an electrical engineer with the software skills of a computer scientist for the design and development of computing based systems. Electrical and computer engineers require a strong foundation in mathematics and basic sciences. The ECE course curricula are designed to provide students with the skills they will need to develop professionally and promote lifelong learning.

This website is designed to provide information about the structure and content of both degree programs as defined by ABET EC-2000 to our stakeholders. First time visitors should first examine the template (EE or CpE) of the degree program that they wish to examine. They can also be reviewed at any time by selecting the appropriate link in the navigation bar located above.
