Engineering Design Project Day
Dear FAMUāFSU College of Engineering Students,
It is with great pleasure that I write to inform you the Executive Council of the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering (COE) has proclaimed next Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011 as "Engineering Design Project Day." Engineering students are strongly encouraged to use this day to collaborate with teammates to finalize class and/or senior design projects. To encourage this collaboration, all classes held at the College of Engineering on Wednesday, 11/23/2011 will be suspended. An E-news story is being prepared with all the details and should appear on the engineering website tomorrow. Please take full advantage of this time to work with your classmates on your design project(s). Additionally, some course instructors who normally teach on Wednesdays may offer office hours instead. Please contact your instructor to see if he or she will be available and at what times. For your information, the Executive Council consists of the academic deans, department chairs, and directors at the College of Engineering. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Regards, Dr. Perry

New Card Access for FAMU Students
In an effort to better serve the students at the College of Engineering the FSU Card Access system has recently undergone a major upgrade. This upgrade no longer requires FAMU students to carry a blue access card to enter the building after hours. The Rattler student ID card will now allow current engineering student access to the College of Engineering and FSU's Strozier and Dirac Libraries.
If you have registered for and currently have a blue access card please return it to the Office of the Associate Dean in B-223.
If you have problems with your access or have questions about your new access please contact the office of Student Services in B-111.
