The Networking Academy at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering
For twelve years, from 2000 through 2012, the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering participated in the Cisco Networking Academy program. This was an outreach and community service activity of the College, intended to support economic development through the preparation of additional "high-tech" workers in the area.
Unfortunately, given the economic realities of the day, the College has chosen to end its affiliation with the Cisco Networking Academy program, effective September 2012. As a result, the College is no longer able to provide Cisco training.
The College is still a part of the Juniper Academic Alliance. We do not plan to schedule or promote any Juniper training in the near future; however, if a group comes forward with a request for Juniper training, we would consider providing it.
We encourage those individuals who are interested in network training to investigate offerings at area community colleges, private colleges, and computer training centers.
