About Us

Since our founding in 2006, the FAMU-FSU Student Chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) has taken on the role of colloquium and extracurricular organizer for interested engineering and biomedical students. Through interaction with professionals, BME centered activities, volunteer opportunities, and social events, the FAMU-FSU BMES prides itself as THE place for undergraduate and graduate students to broaden their view of the BME discipline and its place in evolving biomedical research, clinical applications and industrial settings on a world stage.

While we welcome members from all disciplines, we especially invite our fellow BME and engineering students to join us at our regularly scheduled meetings, every other THURSDAY at 5:30 pm in RM A113 in the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, beginning September 6, 2012.
