Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Fundamental knowledge

    Define Outcome:
    Upon completion of the course of instruction, the student will be able to demonstrate fundamental knowledge in at least one broad area of Civil / Environmental Engineering disciplines. These areas include: structures, geotechnical engineering, hydraulics, transportation, and environmental engineering.

  2. Critical Thinking

    Outcome TypeCritical Thinking Skills

    Define Outcome:
    Upon completion of the course of instruction, the student will be able to determine needs, define problems, and apply analysis and/or design techniques to obtain solutions in at least one specific area of specialization. Specialization areas include: structures, geotechnical, hydraulics, transportation and environmental engineering. Students are also encouraged to explore interdisciplinary research combining all major areas listed above.

  3. Independent Abilities

    Upon completion of the course of instruction, the student will be able to use independent self-learning and research capabilities, which enable students to grow throughout his/her career after graduation.
