Evolutionary Computation (EC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Seminar Series

The EC/AI seminar series are informal meetings where participants can present and discuss development and application work of evolutionary computation and/or artificial intelligence.  Topics include genetic algorithms, genetic programming, swarm theory, ant colony optimiation, neural networks, fuzzy logic, agent-based systems and expert systems.  Most meetings will be in the format of informal talks, while others may be more in the format of a paper discussion group or a discussion of a problem of interest.

The objectives of the seminar series are to:
  (1) promote the application of evolutionary computing and artificial intelligence approaches to problems in all disciplines; and
  (2) provide a forum for people working in or interested in these areas to exchange ideas.

All faculty, staff, and students who are interested in EC and AI are encouraged to participate and attend.
